About the Journal

Servitium Smart Journal is a national peer-reviewed journal of community service published by Klabat University. The Servitium Journal is published twice a year, namely April and October. Papers accepted in the Servitium Smart Journal are papers about the results of community service activities carried out by lecturers or individuals from various scientific backgrounds (interdisciplinary) by following the existing format. Servitium Smart Journal is an online journal dedicated to the publication of community service articles by prioritizing aspects of the application of science, technology, innovation, environmental impact studies, public services, research based on community service, participatory research that is beneficial to society.

This edition presents a collection of community service articles that reflect Universitas Klabat’s ongoing commitment to addressing local societal, economic, and technological challenges. The featured works result from collaborative efforts between faculty members, students, and community partners, all aimed at capacity building and community empowerment across various sectors.

The first article, "Enhancing the Production Capacity and Management of the Singkanaung Farmers Group through Technology Assistance", outlines a technology-based mentoring approach designed to improve agricultural productivity and sustainable group management in Singkanaung Village.

The second article, "Local Culture-Based Essay Writing Training for High School/Vocational School Students in South Minahasa Regency", focuses on preserving cultural values by developing students’ essay-writing skills, encouraging cultural identity expression and literary literacy.

The third article, "Improving AI Literacy and Digital Ethics Awareness through Interactive Education for Senior High School Students", aims to equip youth with foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence and relevant digital ethics through participatory and interactive learning methods.

Finally, "Introducing AI Technology to Senior High School Students to Explore Career Opportunities and Challenges" illustrates how early exposure to AI can help students better understand modern workforce dynamics and enhance their readiness for the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Through this edition, Universitas Klabat reaffirms its strategic role as a change agent in fostering community capacity development and education rooted in technology, cultural values, and digital ethics.
